D&D 5E Paizo's 'The Abomination Vaults' Pathinder AP Coming to 5E

Paizo is set to release one of its adventure paths--The Abomination Vaults--for D&D 5E in November. The AP will be compiled as a hardcover and retail for $59.99. There will also be a Pathfinder 2E version of the hardcover.

The 3-part adventure path was originally released for Pathfinder 2E in early 2021, and is a big dungeon crawl adventure.

When the mysterious Gauntlight, an eerie landlocked lighthouse, glows with baleful light, the people of Otari know something terrible is beginning. Evil stirs in the depths of the Abomination Vaults, a sprawling dungeon where a wicked sorcerer attempted to raise an army of monsters hundreds of years ago. The town's newest heroes must venture into a sprawling dungeon filled with beasts and traps to prevent a spiteful spellcaster from rising again!

This complete compilation of the original Adventure Path campaign has been adapted to the newest version of the world’s oldest RPG. You’ve heard about the quality and depth of Pathfinder campaigns for years—now explore the Abomination Vaults yourself without having to learn a new game system!

Yes, I'm sure businesses would be lining up to partner with Paizo. No, no one will bring up the dumpster fire of a workplace and question why a business would partner with another business with that sort of image.
You might be shocked that many many people don't know or don't care about that. The vast majority of gamers don't read every forum post or even care about the workplace they get their products from. At least none that I know or talk with at all.

True, but they were not talking about gamers (aka consumers), they were talking about business that might partner with Paizo. A business really should be aware of the labor conditions of the company they plan to partner with.

If they sold a hardbound book of the Age of Worms converted to 5E, I'd snag it in a heartbeat.

Buuuuut, I'm not sure who would actually own the rights to that one. Is it Paizo who published it when they had the Dragon and Dungeon magazine license, or did it go to Wizards when the license went back to them? Either way, I'm not holding my breath.
It is not hardbound, but there is a conversion of Age of Worms to 5e on these very forums: Age of Worms 5e

Note: you need the original adventure to run it, this just gives you what you need to convert it to 5e.

Also, if your not familiar, you need to click the "Go to Download" button to get the actual conversion. The links in the post itself are to the original maps and handouts from Paizo's website.

Hey if companies are dumb enough in this day and age to partner with another company without doing the slightest bit of a background check on that company. It's one thing to buy a product from them, but we're talking about a business deal. Two very different things with different levels of engagement.

This is Paizo doing what they do. WOTC is going in a direction I don't like with adventures, from Coffee shops, to Iron Chef competitions, to just full on narrative adventures. Just like 2008 when WOTC put out a game system I didn't like Paizo was there with what I want.

Here they go with a classic play style for 5e. They are brilliant. I'm not going to be able to run this due to time, but I'm going to buy this to tell them make more please.

Interesting, not my take.
