Black lists are pretty much what they sound like: people or groups you no longer hire, recommend, or associate with.

If WotC keeps one that they circulate within the industry, that's news to me, and I used to work there.
It seems to be a current regime thing...which raises the interesting question of timing. When did ENWorld get cut off, precisely?

It’s been a really long time since you worked there, Darrin!
 


If people at WOTC have bad experiences working with a particular freelancer, I can see why they wouldn't want to hire them again. However, the sense I'm getting is that you can end up on a WOTC blacklist blocklist because of offending the wrong person or some other personal feud. And if they enforce these blacklists, it seems like exactly the context that would enable abusers.

I'm confused at to why we're talking about ENWorld being on that list; I don't see anywhere where Morrus stated or even implied that they were. It feels like people are jumping to conclusions...
