D&D Movie/TV Here's The D&D Movie Trailer!

"Who needs heroes when you have thieves?" The movie arrives March 3rd, 2023. Here's the trailer! When they said it was inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy, they weren't kidding! We have dragons, owlbears, mimics, gelatinous cubes, quips, and more!



There was also a clip shown at San Diego Comic Con where the party cast speak with dead, and got to ask five questions. Also, apparently, the D&D cartoon characters from the 80s have a cameo!

I think it's just that Michelle Rodriguez is like 5'4" and they're not putting her on a box or trying to hide it.

I'm pleasantly surprised, I'm optimistic about it now.

As for the black dragons acid. My wife, who doesn't play or knows much about the game, asked if it was acid. She's use to the GoT dragons. If she picked up on it I think it'll be fine.

Ok this looks genuinely fun!

Heh, my reaction to seeing the trailer was a sense of relief.

The D&D movie looks like a good movie.

At least, I would definitely go see this movie even if without a D&D tie.

The D&D easter eggs seem to add a layer of enjoyment. The movie doesnt feel trapped by the setting canon. The movie seems to make the setting work well.

Well, if anything, this has turned around doom and gloom, that was really building up steam right before the trailer release, I mean really, into a low level of optimizing and some strident desire to see it.

While that would be a bit tall for a dwarf, it would make the party a bit less human-centric. And, if you have someone of that height, why not? Also, a non-stereotypical dwarf would be nice to see.

D&D Dwarves are taller then LotR Dwarves so you don't mix them up with Halflings and Gnomes.
