Where does it say that?
Every book published that ignores every piece of eberron content shows that. Sure, it’s not something that is explicitly written in a book. But it doesn’t need to be. Keith doesn’t have control over Eberron, but he is the creator, has been one of the major designers of every setting book and is respected by wotc and the community when it comes to Eberron. He didn’t create a rule that prohibits a novel to be canon, but has stated many times that it was (as has been in 5e too) the design intent to only count the official eberron setting books as canon. Even the novels he created for Eberron are not considered canon…

And I hope that remains true, but WotC's desires for more profits will always trump creative vision should the two come into conflict. Posters here have explained this to me, in so many words.

Hasbro wants D&D to be a multimedia franchise, and this means alternate continuities to be necessary. What if in the future Paramounts has to reboot the D&D cinematographic universe? Or there is a videogame studio working in a future project, and then they start to suggest too many too good ideas. For example a videogame of Dark Sun where the geography of the Athasian Tablelands to be designed.

And if the cronomancers return with an update mythlogy/lore, we can't imagine the crazy ideas by 3PPs.

Keith Baker unfortunately doesn't have any control over Eberron. WotC can do whatever they want with it, including folding it into the Multiverse plot.

They already did with Eberron: Rising from the Last War, they placed it for the first time in the default cosmology, making its own cosmology a microcosm of it in a single crystal sphere, which was not in the OG Eberron in 3.5e era which had a view that setting except for Greyhawk & Planescape should be seperate from the Great Wheel cosmology.

That doesn't fit 5e/One D&D's ambitions at all, they want a transmedia cinematic/gaming multiverse that is interconnected, so they made a few changes to Eberron (Crystal Sphere to fit its cosmology inside the 5e Great Wheel, Planeswalker Vi, etc...) and made disconnecting Eberron optional.

They made Eberron part of the metaplot and I will be surprised if Eberron doesn't show up in Vecna's adventure.

you got Rising backwards. By default it isn’t connected, and they give you an option as how to connect it (Baker himself says as much).

And Eberron showing up in Vecna’s adventure is not a problem.. it will just not be canon in Eberron
