Just one. I homebrew enough that I actually don't need to reference it all that often, and most stuff I need to look up I can find on the online SRD.

Just one. I would have bought a PDF copy, had it been made available, but it was not to be.

I also have one 1st Ed, two 2nd ed (original and black cover), two 3.0e, one 3.5e (plus a PHB2), and one for 4e.

Eh, since others are chiming in...

D&D Holmes - 3 (one in the box, one reproduction - book only, one lost)
D&D B/X - 2 (still have one, in the box)
D&D BECMI - 1 (still in the box)
D&D Rules Cyclopedia - 1
1E - 1 (+ UE, still in one piece)
2E - 6 (still have 2, one original, one revised; one given away as a prize at a con, signed by Larry Elmore)
3E - 5 (still have all, two 3.0, two 3.5, one 3.5 deluxe)
4E - 1 (& PHB2, PHB3)
5E - 3 (still have all 3, one is falling apart, one regular, one foil-covered)

Eh, since others are chiming in...

Have two down in the poll for 5th edition as requested, but since others are putting them down, here is my update:

D&D Holmes - 1 (have it as a collectible I picked up over the years)
D&D B/X - 2 of each (originals that are falling apart and now pdfs too)
1E - 2 (sold my original years ago, have replacement)
2E - 2 (sold my original years ago, have replacement)
3.5 - 1 (sold years ago, switched to PF)
4 - 1 (sold, along with PHB2, and I think same for PHB3)
5 - 2 (one for me, one for son)

Three, kind of. I bought the PHB in 2014, but when the pages started falling out, I wrote to WotC and they sent me another one. Then I glued the pages back into the binding so now I've got two physical copies, plus one digital on D&D Beyond.
