I wonder if WotC could allow in DMGuild some space for art (for example for Dark Sun) and fiction. Of course it can be filled with lot of facfiction, and some times with ridiculous plots for comedic intentions. Or we could see something like gamebooks type "Endless Quest", but maybe this is better for the VTT of D&D Beyond.

Why not anything for D&D fan-fiction and fan-art like "Dark Pack" for World of Darkness?

Somebody needs to write and put up on the DM's Guild, "Orcs of Krynn"!!!

Common wisdom holds that orcs have not appeared on Krynn . . . . but secretly, unknown to the peoples of Krynn, the orcs have had a hand in every important historical event throughout Krynn's history! Learn the secrets of the Orcs of Krynn, and how they will soon launch their own war of conquest to dominate the continent of Ansalon!
Lead by Orc Sorcerers, perhaps?

I dig it!

DMsGuild allows art. It doesn't allow fiction, except as a supplement to lore in a larger doc

True AFAIK, but I think (hope) it's easy to get around if you want to publish your D&D fanfic . . . . just include some game stats and info!

A fun product might be a combo of a novella, gazetteer, and game bits (adventure, monsters, items, spells, player options, etc).
