I think I'm only going to post here on the weekends, given that my room writeups are pretty short, in part inspired by system neutrality, but I've actually been keeping up this week!

Systemless seems like the way to go, to me, especially if you have even a vague intention of sharing it with the public in any fashion.

If nothing else, I hope the last few days has made more people realize how easy it actually is to use systemless books. If it says "gnoll" in the adventure, just grab your relevant monster book and use that gnoll. The stats in the adventure book are nice to have, but they've never been mandatory.

Speaking of which, for a stats-light megadungeon with a stellar reputation, people could do a lot worse than to check out Stonehell, by Michael Curtis, now with Goodman Games. One of the most beloved adventures of the golden age of OSR.

Yeah. For me it started out as a combination of experiment and laziness. once the OGL stuff broke I figured I might as well keep going that way. if I go the distance and end up wanting to do something with it, there should one game or another released under ORC by then.

Also, does anyone own Dread Thingonomicon? Does it have tables that could help me add additional room types to temple levels of a dungeon?
