I'm trying to think of what move would tick off the most people. I'm picturing going back to featuring the pineapple pizza that used the patented pineapple variety, making it only doable for delivery and not dining in at the restaurant, and not letting up on the patent. Does that get the vast majority of people?

Introduce a multi-license scheme governing crust thickness and shape, and yes, you might well manage to irritate over 110% of everyone!

... Except for the fact that a bunch of cute penguins apparently went all Ewok on a panda... :-S

That's mildly disturbing. :p

While we were trying to save the pizza world from the pineapple onslaught, the evil overlords were pushing their plans to fruition.

It's in French, but here a translation of the caption under the picture:

"Tiziana di Costanzo, co-founder of Horizon Insects, showing a pizza slice made from powdered crickets, London, June 2021."

And the title is "Powdered crickets in your pizza, sure! But not without you being informed about it."

[The rest of the article is mostly irrelevant discussion about labelling obligations of allergens in the EU].

Sidenote: @Whizbang Dustyboots : I bought the Stygian Library and your advice was well-founded. It wasn't what I looked for, but it fills my need exactly.

Yeah, pineapple isn't even that weird, y'all.

That's right up there with, "You can't tell me that my opinion is wrong because it's an opinion, and opinions can't be right or wrong!"
And the frustrating part is, that's absolutely true.

That's why I avoid saying "right" or "wrong." Instead, I'll say something like "I can't agree with that." And 90% of the time, this will still cause them to blow a fuse.
