Yup. The first casualty of war is innocence, because on every street in every city, there's a nobody who dreams of being a somebody. But then, you don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies. I think it's important to remember that when we're on the internet, nothing spreads like fear. And in space, no one can hear you scream.

We could fix a lot of these problem threads just by saying, flat out, when people are arguing in bad faith.

Of course, then we'd have a whole different set of issues.
