Figurine of Dubious Power - Marble Elephant in the Room (Rare). This marble statuette is about 4 inches high and long. It can become an elephant for up to 24 hours. If this elephant is ever attacked, mounted, spoken to, seen, or otherwise noticed or interacted with, it immediately ceases to exist. Once it has been used, it can't be used again until 7 days have passed; however, it cannot be used by anyone who acknowledges that the figurine exists.

I feel like there might be a fundamental issue with this item, but I don't want to be the one to call it out, so I'll stay quiet and wait for someone else to mention it.

Feed back time. If you have a serious inquiry for folks, do not make sarcastic jokes in the OP about it. Few, if any, will answer the actual question at hand, and the rest will take your joke seriously for 45 pages.

Paranormal romance is wild. They have so many imaginative sub-genres, telling what's often pure sci-fi or fantasy, but where the ultimate goal isn't saving the world, but typically something more personal. It feels like, one of these days, the walls between romance and sci-fi/fantasy are going to come down once and for all.

They're sometimes pretty delicate as they are, especially when talking urban fantasy. I mean, some books lean into one more than the other, but there are some where they're pretty much equal opportunity.
