Buy the products in glass that you can. It'll keep the bottlers in business and lower the prices on glass, making it a more attractive option. And the folks at dairies go to the grocery store, too -- they'll see the shift over time, if it happens.The problem with the former is that there are only a limited number of products that come in glass any more. As an example, I couldn't buy my milk in glass if I wanted to; even cardboard is uncommon, especially in the sizes I buy.
So, its essentially hard to provide customer pressure toward X when no one is doing X.
