The problem with the former is that there are only a limited number of products that come in glass any more. As an example, I couldn't buy my milk in glass if I wanted to; even cardboard is uncommon, especially in the sizes I buy.

So, its essentially hard to provide customer pressure toward X when no one is doing X.
Buy the products in glass that you can. It'll keep the bottlers in business and lower the prices on glass, making it a more attractive option. And the folks at dairies go to the grocery store, too -- they'll see the shift over time, if it happens.

I am in two leagues. One snake redraft that I wont know order until 1 hour before draft on Tuesday. Sunday I have an auction cap draft which I never feel prepared for!

Auction is the way to go. But this is a LONG-STANDING league, and we don’t mess with it.

I'm just sayin'...

How in the world did we let DETROIT-STYLE PIZZA supplant the good and righteous New York Style? or the lesser-known and possibly superior Brooklyn-Style? And in America, no less!! We were so distracted and preoccupied with pineapple that we forgot the origin--nay, the very foundation!--that we were building on! Pelor have mercy on our coal-black hearts.

There's virtually nothing I buy that comes in glass, that I don't already buy in glass. There's just not much of it.

And I think you're optimistic thinking people will look at packaging outside of their own industry for shifts in same.

The discussions of the dangerous of plastics and the outright industry lies about microplastics and plastic recycling are becoming common knowledge. I wouldn't bet on the west using more plastic five years from now than they did five years ago. The tide feels very much like it's beginning to turn. Plastic is no longer "oh, isn't that nice; my shampoo bottle won't break in the shower" to "this stuff is going to give my kid cancer."

If you picture Ticket to Ride, some people could set out to just build their routes and maybe everyone gets to, with just a few reroutes when someone else just happened to get there first. And then there is the way to play to grab the key spots once you figure out someone else needs it so that you hamstring everyone else. I have this image of an angry Sheldon Cooper getting into a particular style of game using that strategy ...
