If you're overwhelmed with curiosity, or if you're just bored, here's what's up with my leg.
As some of you
might already know, I lost quite a bit of weight. (There's no trick, no gimmick, or magic here. I asked my doctor what to do, then I did it, and boom! Fitness happened.) I ended up losing 56 pounds in total...but as I got smaller, a lump that had been hidden in the fatty tissue of my thigh slowly appeared. And tumors are not cool.
My doc took a look at it, then referred me to a specialist. The specialist referred me to a surgeon. And that surgeon removed the tumor yesterday morning. Apparently it was a
fibrolipoma "about the size of an apple," but they sent it off to the lab to have it tested and confirmed. Apparently there are lots of different kinds of lipomas, and some of them are worse than others. All I have to show for it now is a 5" incision and a prescription for painkillers. Anyway, that's what's up.
