OK, I did check reddit for reviews of a product I'm interested in. Still not a huge number, but that may be on me, then.Reddit and Discord...so, basically, fight clubs and the local dump.
Thanks.

Sometimes I think that the real division here on EN World isn't D&D vs. some other RPG, or pro-4E vs. anti-4E, or loves pineapple vs. hates pineapple, etc.
It's "wants what's best for the TTRPG community" vs. "wants what's best for [preferred company]"
doesn't THIS place have a discord?Reddit and Discord...so, basically, fight clubs and the local dump.
Precisely.doesn't THIS place have a discord?![]()
My friends in Chicago say I'm too aggressive of a driver, I think it is because of having to do things like commute on the 101 in the bay area.I was once stuck on the 101 North for three hours in the bay area.
I went 8 miles.
I then swore to never complain about Chicago traffic again.
You know, until I inevitably get shot in it.
I think the real trick is to just get a motorcycle, you can lane split and in the bay area you can basically ride all year long as opposed to here, where you can ride for like six months out of the year.My friends in Chicago say I'm too aggressive of a driver, I think it is because of having to do things like commute on the 101 in the bay area.
That's probably the biggest one AFAIC. "I like X, therefore X is what's best for RPG'S. I don't like Y, therefore Y must be bad for RPG's." is probably the most pernicious position that people take. The tendency to take personal preference as an objective value of quality is really widespread.vs. "want what's best for me." - A Pineapple lover, probably.
When people kept pushing for lane splitting in Ontario, Canada, my response was always, "You first. I might in two years, after implementation." I've had too many drivers think that it's OK to lane split motorcycles, when on my bike, to ever want to deal with the other way 'round.I think the real trick is to just get a motorcycle, you can lane split and in the bay area you can basically ride all year long as opposed to here, where you can ride for like six months out of the year.
Never minding the folks who think it's funny to open a door in front of you. When people kept pushing for lane splitting in Ontario, Canada, my response was always, "You first.
