I suspect Roll for Combat's Battlezoo will not appear as 3PP in D&DBeyond.
Just depends on how it functions down the road. The current entries were invited but it could just be a trial phase. If they open it up to everyone willing to agree to certain minimal requirements (i.e. no offensive material) and Roll f or Combat could make money on the deal, I'd wager we'd see it up there.

I don't think we know what the long term plan is though, DDB could have other criteria based on total sales, etc..

Like I said don't hate the player, hate the game.
I don't understand how people have come to take this turn of phrase as a reasoned and insightful rejoinder. To me, it sounds more like something a bad pick-up-artist would say after a failed seduction attempt*. Regardless, it's utterly ridiculous. People who participate in the toxic part of 'the game' are actively contributing to the toxification process. A process that, for social media platforms and similar two-sided market situations like YouTube, are becoming so prevalent that they are getting their own specific unflattering terminology. "The game" is making places like YouTube, Facebook, and similar so nearly useless to the viewer base that it is only previous investment (technical and emotional/social buy-in) and lack of data/audience/social network portability that are keeping people on said platforms. Any number of times in history**, various industries have been rife with objectionable business tactics. I see no way that that being the only way they could participate in said business at the time somehow being a reasonable excuse or deflection of the criticism that the tactic was, in fact, objectionable. 'hey baby, it's not my fault lying and deception are accepted norms in the scene, I'm just playing the hand dealt me' or something. **and yeah, I can't be too specific with this, but you all have your own examples.

Even more regardless, if this just the game that has* to be played, then the people actively choosing to have no excuse when called out on it, nor should they have any expectation not to suffer the downstream consequences of said game. If the OP video presenter finds that people do not take them seriously because of their clickbaiting tactics, well then that's the bed they chose to make (even if the choice really is 'otherwise my revenue will not make this a worthwhile endeavor for me'), and they need to lie in it. A pithy justification does not circumvent ones needs to accept the consequences of their actions. *As others have said, there are plenty of well-loved and even successful YouTube personalities out there who do not use these practices, who generally flourish because of the good will not plummeting to the lowest common denominator affords them.

This entire "click bait" issue for Roll for Combat is making people miss out a ton of useful content. If you watch the stream summarizing the OGL story, you can see all of the ways they kept the story moving. I remember reading the thread on ENWorld when the story broke and a lot of people said some very unkind things about the channel and how it couldn't be accurate. Stephen even does a callout to that thread when discussing it.

Roll for Combat went over OGL 1.1 in detail. They had a contract lawyer on discussing the ins and outs of it. They found a guy that did his PHD on the OGL. They had Ryan Dancy on to discuss the issue. And this was all when they were a tiny little channel. I remember at the time they were the people I was reading about covering it. Say what you want about Stephen, and he does have a lot of hot takes in him, but he's been informative about things like the VTT that I haven't seen elsewhere. Getting off my rant here, I promise.

There's good content on RFC. I'm a subscriber. I have purchased a lot of the Battlezoo products - and they're great.
You just have to be aware of the thumbnails (which I think are done sort of tongue-in-cheek anyway). Stephen can be a bit of a "personality" - which can rub some viewers the wrong way. Mark is usually the more balanced one in his opinions. They have a good back-and-forth.
