What I found interesting was how he talked about leveraging their players. Then I remembered this from their Terms of use.

Anything you plug into any of their products is theirs, and I believe will be fed to an AI, and mined for new products.

it does happen with or without humans, but this time it is happening by a factor of 1000 or so faster than at any time in the last 4 billion or so years, so...
I understand the concern. The claims dont persuade me. Currently, the claims for and against are far too political, too motivated by economic policy agendas, to take the claims at face value. The evidence itself remains ambiguous. Many alarmist predictions are now false, with the predicted dates having come and gone.

Meanwhile, from an archeological perspective, drastic climactic changes occur during the existence of the human species, and even during human history.

In any case, climate change is happening. Humans must adapt intelligently to this new environment.

Look forward to the day that you hear what we've heard for about a decade now in Southern California, that wildfire season is now year-round. (Which isn't 100% true in SoCal -- it's more like 9/12 months now.)

Yeah I was lamenting our pathetic winter this year. I am pretty sure once my current problem is resolved the wife and I are moving to a place where the Canadian Winter is still a force.
