Greyhawk is the 'sample setting' provided in the 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide, and it is illustrated with a massive hex map by the awesome Mike Schley.
I did not count the hexes (30 miles per hex), but roughly measuring pixels gives me 4095 miles east to west and 2858 miles north to south.Do my Greyhawk folk know how big the map shown is in miles high by miles wide?
Also, appears they have reverted back to pre-Greyhawk Wars. I approve.
With that picture of the Silver Dragon inn it looks like with the new 576 CY timeline Greyhawk will have the new interpretation of the orc and also has dragonborn.
Well, of course, this is in the DMG. Core book Species will be there.Tieflings are there too.
Yeah, Iuz is smaller because he expanded and took over the Horned Society lands and the Hunting Lands in the Greyhawk Wars. This restores the geopolitical situation of the original folio, the Great Ki gdom is still there, too.Yeah, no mention of Iuz is what I found most interesting. Edit: Oh, no, he's there. Just above Whyestil Lake.
No shade on From the Ashes, but I always felt like it made the setting a little too much grimdark when I'm generally happier with a points-of-light.
I predict WotC will immediately release an updated Greyhawk Wars, immediately dividing the community.
