It may not be the best. But what is the other solution?

Failing that, I would recommend a youtube video, probably with a shocked woman and a big red arrow. Proposed title:
17 Ways To Deal With That Jerk at Your D&D Table that Wizards has Hid From You (you won't believe #14!)

Seriously, though, social dynamics are hard. I think anything that goes further than, "D&D is a game that is supposed to be fun. If someone at your table is making the game not be fun for you, you should talk to the person. But if that doesn't fix the problem, see if you find a group that is more in-line with your fun!" would be unhelpful.

Why do you need that? There are plenty of 3pp, or previous edition examples of what you want, or you could homebrew. Why does WotC have to include it in the current PH for it to count in your estimation?
I feel the core playstyles (healer, warrior, expert, caster) should have representation where you aren't beholden to the DMs whims. The fighter and rogue already don't, and the sorcerer is the arcane equivalent of an arcane caster that the DM can't arbitrarily screw with (no spell book). The healer needs a sorcerer type class that the DM can't chain yank if the cleric's power can be cancelled by the DM. It should be as easy to access as the fighter, sorcerer or rogue.

Or, they can do what they just did and make it so that the DM can't decide if a character loses their class because they don't like how they are being role-played...

I think in this discussion we were talking about something different. Maybe let's say Bob is a person who likes a certain style of game. He wants to introduce a lot of new fiction outside of his character. Maybe he thinks that is how the game works even. Well there are some people playing D&D who will absolutely accommodate him and everyone in that group will be happy. He won't be happy in my group though and having a screen to catch such things at session 0 or even better at session -1 where the player is just looking for a group would help a lot.

But you don't want to have to write a book on the entry you post looking for players. It's be nice if you could just put five or ten words and that would clue you in to how that group will game.

Eberron back in 3e had clerics who didn't match the alignment of their Gods, and Keith Baker explained that's just how things are. They're keeping things in line with how they've been in Eberron, and it makes things interesting at least with NPCs in that a Cleric of a Good aligned God might be the secret villain.
And that's how things are...in Eberron.

I'm sure the Watcher's Council on Buffy would have liked to take away Faith's power and give it to someone else. But once she was granted the powers of the Slayer, they are with her for life. Same thing with divine investiture.

That doesn't mean they can't use other means to stop her from misusing her powers. If she's invested with them for life, that's a problem with an obvious solution.
The Watcher's Council didn't give Faith her power. Their ancient predecessors gave it to the First Slayer, from whom they designed it to pass to the next girl called. That's not how clerics work.
