I dont know who needs to hear this, those blessed few who have not put me on Ignore, or been Ignored, I guess?

Boil things down, experience a bit of adversity, lift some heavy things if you are able, get into the woods.

Life gets both complicated, and yet very simple, real fast. What matters?

It sure isn't the minutia of a failed edition of ones oldest RPG system. Its not the minutia of anything.

Bring on the asteroid!
I'd probably broaden "get into the woods" some, but I like me some stark landscapes.

That's not really an argument, of course.

Well, sure. Not with that attitude it isn't! That's quitter talk!

Yes. Its taken me a long long time to get there, but yes. I quit. The inane, pearl clutching, detail fixated, pedantic, utter stupidity of the online 'space' that has now fully bled into the 'real' world? I quit.

Roll up your Shadowdark character, play the game. Reality is going to be waiting once you are done.

Gamers probably have a much better sense of how often that 3.1% chance could come up (I've seen quite a few 2% powers checks, 3% powers checks fail)

You know I am sometimes guilty of thinking it would be better if something terrible happened, preferably to someone else, because it would clarifying and then people would wake up. But I am not sure that many people ever actually wake up - no matter what happens.

Hoping to get back to my favourite place some time soon.
