Still no word from work buddy. Mildly concerned something may have happened, as he tends to have that kind of life (and he's diabetic)...

He's a good guy, and one of the folks at work who makes the job bearable, so I'm refraining on passing judgement until I hear the reasons for not getting back to me. As a borderline antisocial, I tend to instantly drop people who pull stuff like this from my life, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.
