Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Robots to dip fries at fast food restaurants seem a lot more likely, given that they're less expensive and are already much closer to coming to market.
Cleaning robots are becoming more and more common. Saw one about 2” tall at a Quick Trip that was not only doing the floors, but also announcing specials & sales.

And at least 2 of my larger Japanese restaurants have them delivering orders to certain tables.

I know some offices used robots for internal mail/package delivery & pickup a couple decades ago.

The one that caught my eye, though, was a 2012 modular prototype that cost about the same as “5 years of an Indonesian factory worker’s salary”, and could be configured for 200 different manufacturing tasks.

Yeah, which has its own appeal I guess, but I was hashing this out with my son over a drive and didnt get to a solution.

Mostly it was about development of a species, culture, and if various sentient species would all develop on the same paths, but it seemed applicable to RPGs somehow at the time lol

I wish I had access to some serious poll/market research...
I think it's pretty clear that separated race and class are more popular overall. At least one or two B/X derived games ended up adding separated races and class due to overwhelming requests from their customers.

I maintain that they are.

These companies would still be having mass layoffs anyway, even if AI wasn't a thing. These are the same layoffs they always have, year after year, long before AI became a corporate buzzword.
Listen, we're currently watersliding our shardcubes, but unless you have full Gumbies certification, I can't offer you anything more than a temp job. Command of buzzwords or not!
