I also think 4E will have a better set of tools to convey the stories that I have been telling since I started playing D&D a long, long time ago. The game does need to attract and grab more of an audience.

I agree heavily with this. Keeping the players first is what Eberron is about. Wheras making novels canon leads to epic npcs everywhere ala FR epic npc glut.

Agreed, it is time to slaughter this cow. Alignment is way too limiting. A PC should be able to have various ideas on playing their character. If a DM wants to limit his campaign in this way that is fine, but do not force it upon the rest of us.

Because every table needs one. No cleric normally means no table while two clerics is even better. I am looking forward to the relaxing of Alignment \ Role restrictions. Having other leaders be able to fill the healing role will be nice.

Yup, I am enjoying playing a melee character again myself. My tank (crusader) is a blast to play but not more powerful than the paladin / cleric / druid / wizard etc. A couple of abilities should not disqualify any book. We set some houserules on the warblade but was pretty much it.

Bingo, since hiding in shadows is a move action a rogue would only get their standard attack with sneak dice. An improved invis rogue gets a full attack with sneak dice. There is no doubt that improved invis is better.
