Used to spend a lot of time in Fushimi-ku back in the 90's. Charming little town. So sad to hear this news.

Old-school group of players seeking a fifth to round out our group. We're 3 modules into Age of Worms and having a great time. The setting is Gygax's Greyhawk. Potential players need to be friendly, flexible, and somewhat knowledgeable with the 3.5 ruleset (or at least willing to learn...

    Addicted to Fireball

I have a question: Where did you first come up with the name "Addicted to Fireball" for your group? It sounds familiar, like a certain thread that ran on the Wizards boards about ten years ago...

D&D 3E/3.5 Which DnD3E 'Premium' reprint would you like to see next?

All together in one book would be nice. I'd also like to see Age of Worms and Savage Tide get the same treatment.

I think I've lost my way.

I find that when real life pulls me away for a year or two, I always come back to the game refreshed and ready for more. I don't plan these interludes, but I find they have a healthy effect on my gaming in general.

Forked Thread: Ryan Dancey - D&D in a Death Spiral (Keep it Real)

Haven't bought a single 4e book. Gave away all my complimetary copies I got for playtesting. Sticking with 3e/3.5 and Pathfinder... like almost everyone else I know. RIP, Wotc.

[Forked Thread: The 3.5 renaissance!] Three Years in the future - What will WotC do?

4e was a godsend for me; it sucks so badly now I have the necessary time to finish my PhD before 5e is released. Then I can return to gaming with a vengeance.

What are you doing with the money you aren't spending on gaming products?

Since the release of 4e I have had a lot more cash than I used to. I have been saving at least $150 per month which means I have saved about a thousand dollars in the last six months or so. So far I have travelled to the bay area, taken my SO out to dinner a few times, picked up some new...

    4e Change of mind

Was unsure about it at first, then I playtested it and felt even more unsure. Once I got my free PhB I really didn't care for it at all. Sold it and the other freebies I got on eBay. Haven't bought a single book since 3.5 Not planning to buy anything else from Wotc. Not even minis. I'm saving...
