Elias stands fixed, the bloody sword dripping and quivering ever so slightly at his side; his face is downcast, staring at the severed neck of the guard as his life's blood pours out onto the ground.
"It's in the blood," he says lowly. His gaze drifts slowly up from the pooling blood, coming to rest on the paralyzed Rachel, still standing on stage. "It's in their blood... in their hearts. I didn't use to see it, but now I do. It opens the door, lets them see into you. But don't worry, pretty, I'm going to make it stop... I'm going to cut it out of you," he says, as a demented smile crosses his lips.
As Horus unsheaths his sword and takes a stance next to Nick, Elias' smile fades somewhat, thinning into more of a snarl. "Don't force me to harm you as well -- it does not rest in your hearts. Stand aside, and you will be spared; insist, and I will slay you both where you stand."
His head turns sharply to the until now unrecognized Melody, and sneers. "It's in you and your sister's hearts as well, but tonight is not for you, childe. Wait your turn."
