Thanks. I was going for the same sort of technique I see Dave Hendee use. I love color, and doing this on computer is much cheaper than buying paint. A little harder to get brushstrokes, but I still very much enjoyed it.

By the way, she's a character from story I'm writing, though this is her much later on than where I am now. Now I need to think of who to do next. Someone else from the story, prolly.

I see what you are going for, but you still have problems as far as anatomy goes still needs work. the hand and head don't really look attached, but the turn in the body and the forshortened arm are on. As far as the backround style, the type of neat digital paint backround works when you know something on actual painting, otherwise it comes aross as "Durr Durr I know mspaint Durr". If anything, I'd suggest investing in a paint set and theory stuff. I'm sure it won't set you back THAT much.

...

Well, Wickett ... Lesse. I was gonna post, but it looks like Wellstar covered most of what I was gonna say.

To be nice, your faces are getting better ... Honestly, dude, I know you can do better than this. What happened to the legs there?

And yeah ... the background is just kinda fudged. I know you haven't done it often. So I guess it's a decent first attempt.

Just keep at it if you're serious.

*blink* Well, I appreciate the critique. I'm just, um, surprised that someone who registered back in July has only one post, and that's on this thread. It's a weird thread to post to, I guess. *shrugs*

*grin*

Clouds are hard. Well, they're vaporous, actually, but either way, I need to study up on them some more.

Just curious, Jess, what do you think is wrong with the legs? Is it a problem with the shape? The coloring?

Hmm. How to study clouds? I'll just have to keep looking up, even if things are looking down.

well, as far as the strange postcount, it's mostly due to a tragic software and hardware faliure. everything's cool now. ya gotta love backups.
