The Faerie Woods [Knight Otu Judging]

I intend to post round 3 results tomorrow, but for now I will post an updated map, with positions as of the beginning of round 3.

oog: I'm back. Though Ishmael still hasn't moved from his position it would seem.

Ishmael tries to keep his anger in check with another growl. He scans the rubble for a way to his destination (F28). He carefully hops from stone to stone over the rubble, holding his glaive. mid-haft with his left hand.

With his right hand , he draws a Cold Iron dart from his belt then casts it at the Redcap the moment the Halfling catches sight of the murderous fiend.

Small Cold Iron Dart +28 1d3+2 20/x2 20' feet

Round 3 continues

Initiative
Redcap (12 damage)
Nars
Gorefoot
Rodimus
Persephone
Ishmael

Nars moves smoothly into position at H25 and readies an action to fire his crossbow once Gorefoot is in position.

Gorefoot stumbles , falling prone. Changing his previous plan, he struggles to his feet rather than readying an action. (I'm guessing, but I expect he would desire this change.)

Rodimus skillfully hops from rock to rock, until he takes a misstep at E28, where he falls prone.

Persephone blasts away at the Redcap, for another 2d4+2=6 points of damage. Persephone, finding it difficult to traverse the terrain (and failing her balance check), dives prone to avoid the Redcap's sling. Like a cat, and unlike the rest of you, she gives the definite impression that she meant to do that! :D

Ishmael also falls to the ground, and follows Gorefoot's example by immediately struggling to his feat. The dart he was reaching for remains tucked away in it's usual spot.

Begin round 4
The redcap releases his slingstone at the Princess, striking her despite her best efforts. He does d4+2=4 points of damage to Persephone. In some sort of twisted celebration of hitting his target, he yells "Death! I am your death, daughter of Man! Come to me!"

OOC: Sorry I'm not posting as quickly as I would like. If anyone would like to help me out by making any die rolls on invisible castle, I would greatly apreciate it! I think this would also be of benefit because you can have your character react more immediately to the results of his or her actions. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes care of their dice rolls for me. :)

Edit: On getting my rulebook back in hand, the correct damage for a Redcap's sling attack is 1d6+7. I will use the correct value from this point on, but I will not make the correction retroactive.

Nars strikes true with his bolt, dealing 9 points of damage and becoming visible. He moves back, crossbow still unloaded, to H27.

Percy

As Percy manages to fall in a dive, I assume she is able to acheive cover behind that retaining wall. From there she will stand up from prone (MEA), then fire another magic missile, taking as much concealment as possible from the remains of the wall.

OOC: She may not stand up all the way if the cover would be better from a crouch, or even from lying prone. Her magic missile does 8 pts dmg.

Spells now used 0: 0 of 6
1: Mage armor (x2), magic missile (x4) (6 of 7)
2: 1 of 4

The last fall enrages him further, even as the wisps of the divination slips away from his mind. He tries to make his way to Percy's side (g26). In this action however, he fails miserably. After he falls prone in the same spot of ground that he's been in for the last 18 seconds, he picks himself up wearily.

Clarification: Persephone is still where depicted on the most recent map. Being prone provides an AC bonus against ranged attacks, and a similar penalty against melee attacks.

Round 4 continues

Initiative
Redcap (27 damage)
Nars
Gorefoot
Rodimus
Persephone (4 damage)
Ishmael

Gorefoot (NPC'd) advances to G23, ready all the while to meet the Redcap with an attack should it come within reach.

(Rodimus goes here.)

Persephone, undeterred by her prone position, fires off more magic missiles at the Redcap, striking it for 8 points of damage.

Ishmael stumbles about the rubble in a frustrated attempt to gain ground on the evildooer.

Round 5 Begins
Seeing Gorefoot charging in, the Redcap takes what he believe may be his last shot at Persephone. He strikes her for 1d6+7=9 points of damage, causing her to cry out in pain.
