The Faerie Woods [Knight Otu Judging]

Focus your anger, control the spirit of war, do not let it control you.

Gorefoot, still frothing at the mouth, goes rigid for a brief moment, as if he was listening to something. He then stops his forward crawl, and draws a javelin, using it to help himself stand up. On his feet again, he hurls the javelin at the Redcap with savage force while letting out a wolf-like howl.

OOC: Gorefoot is standing up and drawing a javelin (move action), then throwing the javelin at the Redcap.

This is his 4th of 8 rounds of rage.

+4 to attack with javelin, 1d4+5 points of damage, 19-20/x2 crit range.

Percy

OOC: Actually, if Percy sees that the redcap is engaged in melee upon regaining consciousness, she won't turn invisible. Not yet anyway. Also, Percy is plotting against the redcap, so the spoiler tags represent a whisper to Ismael, that the other PCs couldn't hear, and perhaps, the DM shouldn't read. :p

Percy awakes and smiles at Ismael. "Thanks so much. I could use another." Her voice drops to a whisper, [sblock]"Also, I don't think we can beat him in straight combat. We must get that necklace off of him."[/sblock]

OOC2: What did the redcap do with his sling?

Nars leaves his sickle on the ground where it lies (H19). Nars adjusts his position next to the redcap to be able to flank with Rodimus (H18), but slips in the rubble and is unable to deliver a potent attack.

OOC: 5ft step to flanking if necessary. Dagger strike (Round 8) (1d20+5=6) Should only be +3 because not flanking, but doesn't matter.
Editted to reflect Patlin's new map a couple posts down.

The redcaps strength surprised Rodimus greatly. He had seen the creature wielding a scythe far in excess of what it should be able to, but he had still hoped to at least hold it for a moment longer. He gives the bugger another glare as he launches a series of attacks against it.

OoC: Sorry for the disappearance, should be back to regular posting for now.
The figures above do not include possible flanking bonuses, and Rodimus will position himself to allow/help set up flanking if possible.

oog: Ishmael draws the wand of healing and uses another charge on Percy, healing (1d8+1=3)

Ishmael unholsters the wand, alights it upon the Sorceress and intones the command phrase once more. "Curare Sut!"

Positive energy flows from the talisman of healing unto Persephone, closing gashes and mending wounds.

He whispers to Percy.

If Rodimus can pin him, we can retrieve the necklace. Might there a way thou can let him know of our plan? Despite mine misgivings of him, he seems the most capable in grappling.[/sblock]

Seeing Rodimus unleash a flurry of kicks and punches at the redcap, Nars groans, eyeing the scythe. "G-grab him, Rodimus. Don't, *grunt* let him bring that, *puff* scythe to bear."

Here's the map, accurate to the end of my last post (the Redcap just took a 5' step to get out of the square he was sharing with Rodimus.)

Some notes for my use:
[sblock]AC 21, touch 16, flat footed 16, Both 11... confirms Nars did indeed hit with the trip attack.
Grapple modifier: +12
Str 22, so Str checks at +6[/sblock]

He dropped it to the ground. It's currently at Rodimus's feet. Looks like a normal sling for a medium sized creature to a casual observer.

Percy

Percy struggles to her feet, grabbing her rod on the way. "You're a lifesaver, Ishmael. Let's get closer and see what we can do."

OOC: Back in post 465, Percy successfully moved to H24, or so it seems to me. Using her immobile rod, she'll move forward to pick up Nars' quiver of cold iron bolts. Not sure where that is, exactly, but at least 5 feet ahead. Balance roll: 2+2=4. Yikes! If she can trigger the rod, though, she should be able to remain standing.
