The attached map should answer the questions about Roger's disposition...

[sblock=KenHood]I guess I couldn't have sheathed my weapon, so...[/sblock]

Hearing the words coming from her mouth, Vaunea drops her axe and runs over to Emral's side, slapping him on the way over.

[sblock=Actions]
Free Action = drop axe

Attack (non-lethal) = (I'm not sure what an unarmed attack is, but I want to miss purposefully and then mark Emral...if that's not the case, then 11 to hit, plus any modifiers...that was a straight d20...I didn't know what to add. If that hits, I want to do minimum damage, if I can pull my punch. The goal here was simply...)

Mark Emral (PS, I have no idea if this will help at all. Just wanting that -2 to attack. :D)

Save vs. Dazed = 13[/sblock]

As the party sees Vaunea run for Emral, you hear her scream, "Get girl!"

ooc: waaaait! I don't know if you lot have read the Sword of Truth series, but would Olivia's charm work... if Emral *willingly* would have said almost all of that? Without the "I may have to injure/kill you all" part, that stands for exactly how he would have stated it: a surrender is a surrender, and she just lost her husband.
And she's single! ...whaaat? Hey, just because FitD's getting hitched doesn't affect me, man!
Guh! (sorry everyone) Horrific insensitivity towards widows aside, considering we just exploded all her friends and injured her after a surrender, her dominating Emral is a perfectly reasonable act of self defence.

So yeah: can Emral be non-dominated, on the grounds that he wants to stick up for her in a better way than attacking? (if not, he may flame burst everyone ftw)

also: thanks! Ken, if you can do that, you need to run more games.

Never heard of it.

Yep. To my thinking, that would make it work even better. Hmm, maybe change it to 'save ends'? :devil:

Which is why I had Emral say it. ;)

Nope. It's not a charm effect (in which you maintain a degree of volition tempered by a desire to protect and befriend the caster); it's domination. She controls your character's actions.[/sblock]
[sblock=MOh!]Vaunea is dazed, so she can perform only one action. Moving and attacking count as two. You can't charge because of the distance. I need you to give me something else.[/sblock]

[sblock=Busy]Might be busy when my turn rolls around so go ahead and act for me Ken! Strategy atm is just do dump my biggest possible spell on Olivia, so probably Scorching on her so if it misses I can still get the half damage, thanks!

I think this is my favorite fight so far![/sblock]

Vaunea tightens her grip on her axe, shouts her command, and shakes her head, clearing it.

"Hmmm," says Emral looking from Drivan to Erlai to Finnian, "I mean, it's really hard to pick. Do I want to stab my half-elf buddy, his bird, or maybe my fellow spell-caster? ...Darn... There's just so many choices, and all of them need to learn a valuable lesson. I haven't stabbed a bird, ever, and when am I going to get the chance to do it again, so..."

"No!" shouts Olivia, "Just burn them all, you idiot!"

"I think I don't think so, miss... or Mrs. or is there a title for recent widows?"

"BURN THEM!"

"No, no. Stabbing is better. It makes a point. Get it? Point? I..."

"DO IT, YOU ***** ***** *****!"

Emral shrugs, closes his eyes, spins in a circle, and when he opens them, he stabs...

Finnian.

The chaos-charged dagger thrust has astounding force and even more astounding inaccuracy. (Standard Action: Basic Attack v. AC (1d20+4=5, 1d4+1=5).)

An omnidirectional wave of force bursts from Emral, forcing everyone back a step.

"Whoops! But, really, guys, she's having a hard day, I think we should just let her go."
