"Yeah, don't trust her!" shouts a member of mob.

Drivan moves [behind Emral], [placing his staff over the shoulder's sorcerer, putting the tip] against the hole in the door and shouting out an ominous sounding word...

"No!" screams Olivia in dismay, "Don't let him do this to me! I've sur--"

The thump of the Force Orb ends her sentence.

The door bursts apart, throwing shrapnel back into the room.

"Oh!" shouts the mob, in surprise, recoiling.

Past the chunks of door that still hang from the hinges, you see a ruin. Bits of glass, wood, and lie all over the room, blasted, burned, and melted into debris.

Olivia is just as horrible. Her clothes and skin have heavy acid burns. She bleeds from a multitude of open wounds. Her face is a ruin. She cackles maniacally, wobbles unsteadily. "Emral. Emral! You're not going to let them hurt me, are you?" (Standard Action: Silver Deception v. Will (1d20+6=25) -- Emral is dominated until the end of Olivia's next turn.)

"Yeah, guys! A surrender is a surrender. I'm afraid I'm going to have to seriously injure or even kill all of you."

"She's mind-controlled Emral again!" shouts a person in the mob.

"Ooooh! I knew that ***** was faking!" shouts a woman in the crowd.

Everyone: just a heads up, on October 23rd I'm getting married, and then I'm going on a cruise for a week until Nov. 1st. I believe the policy is to assume that Emral gets all the treasure and xp, and winds up with numerous buxom fans wanting his autograph; at least until I get back, when that all stops. Woo--ahem. So I'm still around for two more weeks (just under), but then I'll be off. So no combat until I get back!
