Forked Thread: Scotley's Tomb of Horrors 3.5 Continued

As Ballista adjusts hair and wardrobe, she notes that there is a noticible air current in the room. It seems to be moving toward the north. Just at the edge of her vision on the north wall she sees a darkness that might indicate an opening, but from her current location it is hard to be sure.

Jillian doesn't move far before she finds her first trap. The columns in the room are magically trapped. All of them. It is triggered by touch.

Jillian turns back to the others at the room's entrance. "Do not touch any of the columns. They are all magically trapped and it is triggered by touch." She resumes her searching making sure to heed her own words and stay clear of the columns.

Moving across the room toward the orange glow, Jillan soon discovers the source of the light. Cinders, ashes, charred bones and skulls, and the crisped and blackened remains of gear, clothing, arms, and armor are strewn about a huge, glowing orange gem. The gem is not a trap as far as Jillan can tell, but doubtless there is something unsavory about it.

"We could just have Sir Harrision "trapspringer" Bentz jus blunder strait accross the room and see what happens>" Says Harrison in jest pointing to himself.

"Uhm... No! I'm AWAKE... uh, you were not talking to me?" Garagos utters confused.

Logan looks just as dazed at Garagos, grins, and flicks something off the end of his nose.

"Anything scary in there? Or traps? I don't like traps.....they hurts....." Grackle asks from his relatively-safe position well away from the room. He moves a bit closer to where he can actually see inside the room, but no further just yet. "Anything.......shiny?" he adds hesitantly.

Yes Grackle, there are hundreds of traps. Maybe you should stay out here. If we find any shiny things we can bring them back for you. Zorn says with a slightly evil grin.

Turning to the rest of his teammates, Zorn suggests:

If the columns are magically trapped, I may be able to disarm them.
