One kickstarter I'm glad I backed... (a few pictures)

My Dwarven Forge dungeon tiles arrived a couple of weeks ago - astonishingly on time. They said October at the beginning of the kickstarter, I got them in October.

And so, for play of Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil last week (with 4E and 26th level PCs), out came the tiles...

At some point, I'll really need to get them painted, but for now they add something extra to my game.

Another session this Friday... I need to get a few minis ready. And, for the first time in a while, I've painted a few minis (mostly dungeon dressing pieces) to add to the appeal of the game...

Cheers!

Looks great! And it's always nice to hear about Kickstarters actually getting things out on time :)

All props to the Dwarven Forge folks. They make a sweet product.

Cheers!

Considering you own so many games and products, and live in wizard's tower, I had assumed you would have had the proverbial truckload of Dwarven Forge terrain already. ;)

If I lived in the USA, it's possible I would have. Getting it here in Australia is rather challenging. As it happened, I spent about $100 on shipping for the $200 worth of product I did get from the Kickstarter...

I'm glad I waited, though. The new material they used for the Kickstarter pieces is apparently more durable than the resin they used for their previous work - something that matters a lot to me, given the amount of travel I have to undertake to get to games. :)

I'm getting very interested in the Cavern tiles kickstarter DF are now talking about!

Cheers!

As a fellow Australian, I know what you mean.

Now it's even worse. I live in a country, or at least a part of it, where even Amazon won't deliver (corrupt Customs, most streets have no names, houses and buildings don't have numbers). :)
