D&D 5E Something I find tacky

Something I find tacky is WOTC declaring it's DM appreciation month and then suggesting that we celebrate this by buying stuff from them.

That's just in bad taste.

Eh, it's just their version of a Hallmark Holiday. I suggest buying your DM a couple of beers, and raise toast to PCs past.

Or to Gary and Dave, of course.

Or, you know, raise a toast to you own GM.
But the idea is to buy the beers so the GM can drink a toast with you, and it would be well, tacky to drink a toast to oneself...

Of course, if your GM doesn't drink, the rest of the table could then raise a toast to him/her!

Do you know what I find tacky? Trolling the InterTubes for attention over a faux-slight taking attention away from the actual purpose of the holiday.

Merchandising.

Where's my D&D - The Flamethrower?!
