Dent was winded. He wanted badly to stab the minotaur and put it to death, but he couldn't catch a breath just now. Instead, he disengaged and retreated to more even footing where his foes would have to come at him one at a time. Fight smarter, not harder! The unit commander's words rang in his ears.

OOC: hp 2/44. Move to X32. Getting the hell out of dodge for a round so Dent can heal a little, then back into the fray. Action: Disengage. Your movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks for the rest of the turn. Bonus Action: None. Reaction: Fighting Style (Protection) on whoever is closest, if applicable.

Undeterred, Aridha lunged at a monk again, trying to open a path for Damien...and perhaps kill one too!

(Attacking monk at AA27. [roll0] or [roll1] with Advantage, for [roll2] damage, and the monk must make a Str save at DC13 or fall prone.)

Damien moves. Despite his efforts, one monk lands a hit for 7 damage.

Tolan lands his first attack, but his second attack is parried by the cultist.

Carradoc blasts one of the cultists three times.

Thaliss attempts to blast one of the monks but misses.

Dent moves back.

Aridha bites one of the cultists and drags him to the ground.

The cultist swarm on top of Tolan and Aridha.

OOC: Ouch

The monks land 6 of 8 attacks against Tolan. 3 damage, 1 damage, 3 damage, 3 damage, 2 damage, 4 damage after resistance. 16 damage total.

The monks land 3 of 8 attacks against Aridha. 8 damage, 3 damage, 7 damage. 18 damage total.

Monks at W27, W29, and AA27 are injured all roughly equally.

Stupidly, Damien moved back into the fray as Aridha didn't seem to take the opportunity to flee when he gave her the chance. He focused on the enemy the dire wolf had already wounded and knocked prone.

Carradoc's spell puts two monks into a deep slumber.
