D&D 5E Volo's Guide Available Nov 4th!

Excited?

Smiteworks just announced that Volo's guide will be available on Fantasy Grounds on November 4th! Not much longer to wait :) I assume other premier outlets will also be releasing on that date too.

Here's an image of it from the announcement:

Out of curiosity, I checked Wizard's and Amazon. It won't be available on Amazon or general release until Nov 15th. Roll20 hasn't put a date to it. So, seems like FG users get it 11 days early!

Edit: Ninja'd by Morrus!

So, looking at it more closely, it looks like we'll have at least six new variants for kobolds - the five dragonshield types and the kobold inventor. There's a possible sixth going by the links on the left side of the illustration, but as it includes MM versions, that sixth slot might just be the MM winged kobold/urd. Hopefully the five dragonshields won't just be the same base creature with a minimal differences between types, but have actual functional differences outside the obvious resistances seen there...

I'd wager the dragonshields are just minor variations on the same monster. Maybe they have mini breath-weapons that vary by color, like Dragonborn. Either way, pretty cool.

Hopefully someone who gets it on Nov 4 will share spoilers with the rest of us (I'm going to be buying it on sale from Chapters online, so it will be longer for me to get it)

I imagine the book doesn't have separate stat blocks for six Dragonshield, but rather a template for "chromotizing" a Kobold or somesuch
