As the hero’s approach the bridge, they see two goblin’s on the near side of the bridge, one Hobgoblin on the bridge, and two hobgoblin’s on the far side, along with a building on the near side.
There are many dead bodies on the near side of the bridge, and the flags of the Ironfang Legion fly proudly on the west side of the bridge.

"Should we check the building to see if there are any other goblins lurking inside it?" Vin asks in a whisper.

OOC: Does it look like the building is occupied?

Harb Half-Elf Paladin

"Huddling up" Harb looks at the group.

"I suggest we use the building for cover to get as close as we can. They probably have some kind of signal horn, I'm guessing the one in the middle is the leader and would have it. Those that can attack from far away should aim for him, while the rest of us charge in and take them out. We will be out in the open so we need to hit hard and fast. Who ever is going to blow the bridge needs to start setting that up as soon as he can get onto the bridge to save time. This is my suggestion, I'm open to others."

Harb looks to the south, trying to see if he can spot the group of people they sent to the bridge that way... Maybe the boat was where they thought, I can't worry about that now. These people need my help or we all die.

He looks to the Dwarf from the smith and offers him a weapon

OOC: We don't have any of the weapons we found left right? We gave them to the first group of people we saved? If we still have one of the long swords I will offer him one of those, if not I will offer him my Javalins.
If anyone else has a weapon he might prefer feel free to offer up.

Corsa nods to Harb and draws her daggers. "Works for me. And I think you're right that we should check the building, Vin," she says with a glance to the bladesinger. "If we can get to it without those on the bridge noticing, I'm game for that. But we may not be so lucky."

She turns her gaze to the new dwarf, looking her up and down. "Got a weapon sharp as that tongue?" she asks with a slight grin.

OOC: Maybe the blacksmith has her own weapon? She's a blacksmith, after all. :)

Although with 7 PCs and possibly 1 NPC (Raux) already, I'd understand if the DM doesn't want another NPC in the fight.

Lal has longswords he can offer that he picked up from other hobgoblin, and a shield.

"We need to know where the other refugees are... and are we ready to deal with the bridge?"

“I can take care of myself,” the dwarf said with a stern look as she took out dagger, “I’ve been around the block a few times.”

GM:

The building gives no sign of being occupied, but it doesn’t necessarily look unoccupied either. The door is shut and no light are seen from inside.

Yes you gave away all the weapons to the previous group of survivors.

Vin nods to Corsa, "Let's go and take a closer look, see if we can use it as cover. Where is that other group?"

OOC: If you need one:

Can we get to the building without being observed?

Vin and Corsa make it the corner of the building, the goblins in front of the bridge do not seem to notice, but from the center of the bridge the Hobgoblin shouts a quick command and all the goblinoids snap to attention, but stay at their current position weapons brought to a more defensive position.

GM:

[sblock=For those that speak Goblinoid]
On alert, there may be something out there.
