OOC: Can those without darkvision see anything at all? Specifically, can Carolina see the ogre at the end of the corridor? If yes, then she'll attack it. If not, then she'll light a torch and toss it down the corridor to offer a little bit of light.

OOC: I'm not sure the ogre can get in to get at us. Also, does it know I am there when I take my turn? And do I (or Carolina) have pre-round 1 readied actions? I didn't specify, so I am fine with a 'no' but I was imagining throwing a dagger from a hidden position as soon as an ogre came into sight. Up to you, naturally.

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
Ordrar snaps from his ruminating the options with the noise.
"Now's the time!" he thinks. Moving into position over the ogress' head (remember that he has a bridge so he doesn't risk moving earth or stepping on her) he thrusts a bone pike into her throat.

"If I don't do this quickly, I'm dead. Well, if these are not Lady's men, we're all dead anyhow. Where are the others? No, I run out first, save others later. If filthy elves aren't with this sorry lot and leave me to return to Nightstone. How does it fare? Need to run faster than ogres...if I only had my hammer."

OOC:
This is auto-critical since I'm within 5' and she's sleeping. Not sure how spell criticals works so no additional spells at this time, only restraining of 2 full squares of earth over her arms and shoulders. I may get another hit with some luck :) Let me know what weapon equivalent did I find among the bones (i.e. what damage do I do and what proficiency am I using) - maybe her big club would be wieldable?

Initiative: To save time / posts, I've been rolling it for everyone.

Darkness: There is very little light in the cavern, so attacks are at disadvantage unless someone lights a torch / has dark vision.

Map: Square are 5 feet on this map.

Tunnel: Too small for an ogre to get in. They can make attack if one of you were standing right next to them though.

Sleeping Ogre: You make an attack roll with advantage in this situation. A hit is critical.

Bone: Since you are using it to pierce, I will say it was a rib and can be short sword (1d6 Martial) equivalent. You could also use the great club (1d8 simple) if you prefer.

The ogre isn't too bright and doesn't know that you're there yet. You are also up ahead of it in the order, so would get a chance to attack with the dagger first.

Legend
Aremus whispers to Carolina, "no light yet, just shoot when I say." He angles her bow the correct way and when the Ogre appears he whispers "Now!" and throws his own dagger.

OOC: If the Ogre can't see Carolina, and she can't see him, it's a regular shot (advantage and disadvantage cancel out). We will light it up soon! Promise! But not yet.

Not bad! Then I tug her by the arm and move down out of sight to the bottom of the tunnel.

Fistan, Wizard 3

Fistan was unable to get into a position to do anything about the ogre and was preparing to summon some light to aid himself and his companions until Aremus said "No light yet." Instead he sent his consciousness into Rillix' mind along the corridor to the north to see what was there.
