OOC: Let's get moving, shall we? Would you like to go down through the archway into the next room, back into the trophy room, and/or down the hall of terracotta warriors?

Udit's voice came through the sending-stone: "Uh, Imani? The mercenaries are leaving, and we killed a bone dragon projection thingy. Uh, apparently the cultists have a necromancer, an alchemist and a seer. What's the other group up to? We are kinda banged up and could use a distraction".

Followed by Imani's: "We shall see. Hello, teams - Please report. Not being there myself, I cannot judge, but I have seen the mountain shake twice now. I fear you may be gaining the attention of the Dracolich. I don't have to tell you that this cannot be a good idea."

Mord pulled out his Sending stone as it was used. Listened and then replied.

"We just killed the seers and I think somebody was able to use their pool. Trying to decide on which way to go now. There's a hallway full of warrior statues that seem to be made out of terracotta. I would like to go that way but suspect a trap."

Squirrels are evil!

"I'll try my luck scouting ahead," Zander offers. He then sneaks down the southern corridor to see what lies in the next room.

Zander

Zander snuck through the archway to find Some sort of alchemical laboratory had been set up in the cavern ahead, its rough walls holding shelves covered with vials and jars. Strange liquids bubbled in large vats, swirled through glass tubes and sent clouds of black smoke up toward vent-cracks in the ceiling. An odd-looking small man (either a gnome or a halfling, Zander could not be sure) was wearing some-sort of protective helmet that covered his face, and he whistled as he climbed a step-ladder to look into one of the vats, oblivious to his surroundings.

At the far end of the vault, large double-doors were flanked by two skeletal guards. A smaller door was on the opposite wall from Zander, and a dark passage with an eerie glow went off to his left.

Hmmm... Interesting, SnorLoska replied to Zander's recount. Sounds like a place where those big bombs are made.
SnorLoska looks back from the way they came. Hey, Zander, could you scout ahead a bit through that passage we past on the way in... the passage with the terracotta warriors? And after reflecting on what Mord said, he added Look out for traps!
