Perfect, Ive been spending far too much time stating up these and other beasties

I'm willing to bet the MToF version will not be as tough as my version from from the 5e Epic Monster Updates

Since they mentioned Shadowfell-related creatures, I hope that will include some of the old undead that we haven't seen in 5e yet, such as the Huekuva, the Skeleton Warrior, and the Eye of Fear and Flame. (judging from the art on the variant cover, we are getting Skull Lords...)

IIRC, 4e had a cool Astral Kraken that could be cool to see updated.

Primus? Maybe Mimirs? High level Fey lords/ladies? There's so many things but nothing particular comes to mind.

Gargantuan Flumph Swarm!

EDIT: Genie Lords could also be great, or anything elemental really. Outside PotA, I've not seen many elemental creatures.

I don't think you can stay out Primus, does he even have a body? Is Primus a Greater God of sorts?

It seems so. From its Wikipedia page: ''Primus manifests as a gargantuan humanoid rising from a pool of pure energy, or as an androgynous human. In its gigantic form, its right hand is obscured by rainbows (a portal to Arcadia) and its left hand by darkness (a portal to Acheron).

Primus is aware of all modrons, because it is at the top of the hierarchy.

In 4th edition, the modrons are described as "cells" of the unknown being Primus.''

But it may have changed since.

Primus has been given stats before at least twice - one in 1e and also in the 2e Planescape material. In both cases he can be killed, but if he is, he is simply replaced by one of his Secundus, who then assumes Primus's form and powers. This Secundus is replaced by a lower Modron, and so on down the line. (Primus was never killed in 1e to my knowledge, but in 2e he was murdered by an undead version of Orcus called Tenebrous, who then took Primus's place and used the Modrons to search for his missing Wand. After locating it, Orcus/Tenebrous abandoned his guise as Primus, and a Secundus took his position. According to a magazine article, a portion of the Modrons were tainted by his evil, and left for Acheron.)

Personally, I really want some more stuff from the World Axis; I want World Axis Eladrin, I want Archfey, I want Primordials, I want Elemental Archons, I want World Axis Bladelings (who were playable to boot!), I want Star Spawn.

That said, I would like to see Guardinals (Agathions? Can't remember which game uses which term) to come back. I just want them to have better art because, sheesh, talk about fugly.

Guardianals are D&D and Agathions are Pathfinder.

We have Elemental Archons they are called Elemental Myrmidons now.

And what is a World Axis Eladrin, do you just mean the playable version cause that is coming.
