[Mordheimel] The Nekromancer

Verrazzio VII

"I think perhaps I explain plan now. It keep us from getting confused, yes?"
Verrazzio gestures for a huddle and begins drawing in the dirt with a thick-bladed dagger.
"Person named A come down alley. He has guards, yes, and a dog. With luck, is Chihuahua. Otherwise, is mastiff. We find out, no worry."
Two parallell lines delineate the alley. An arrow represents "A".
Verazzio points at Sinthius and Autumn.
"The three of us walk into alley."
A triangle is added to the diagram.
"We challenge "A" to fight. "A" is not stupid: he send his guards and maybe mastiff against us and hide behind them. We fight guards."

Two circles appear on one side of the alley.
"While we fight guards, T'kran and Fid shoot "A" repeatedly with crossbows and flaming oil until "A" dies. Then we run away and get paid, yes?"

Verrazzio scrapes a boot across the diagram, obliterating it.
" I have a few refinements, but I explain those over dinner. We eat dinner where we can see the main entrance to "A"'s favorite brothel, so we make sure we know how many guards he has tonight and whether his dog is Chihuahua or mastiff. This is place Autumn and Sinthius are going to find now, yes? Meanwhile, I go with T'kran and Fid to find good firing position. We come join you as soon as we finish: if necessary, we do extra shopping. Any questions?"

i dont have any questions. it's pretty clear to me. T'kran, Verrazzio, shall we go and find us a good firing position?? i like the roof, you can easaly ecsape from it, and hiding in it is also a lot easier." the little halfing looks up to the "high" buildings around him

Sugah, Should I just stayb in the ally and look like a whore? maybe get him to stop and cop a feel? Autumn pushes her chest to the foreground and swings her hips seductivly.

Sintius is sweating slightly. "And... what if you all miss?" he says. "It's a simple enough plan. I don't know... perhaps too simple. What if he turns and runs?" Autumn's swaying hips makes Sintius slightly nervous.

Right now you don't know what is Angal's favourite brothel. That might require some more legwork.

Verrazzio 8

Verrazzio purses his lips thoughtfully and addresses each response calmly.

"No, bella donna, I most emphatically do not want you to take off your armor and hide your weapons so you look like a woman of the evening, then stand next to "A" so you can be surrounded by his guards, made unable to use your spells, cut off from escape, and perhaps used as a hostage. That seems to me to be most unhelpful, unless you have hidden talents of which I know little."

Sinthius recieves a thoughtful frown.
"You raise, of course, the two most worrisome problems of the whole affair, yes. For some of these, I have plans, for others I do not.
It is possible Fid or T'kran may fail to hit their marks. But we will try to use alchemical fire, which has a greater area of effect than crossbow bolts, and should be easier to hit. And it would be an ill fortuna indeed for both of them to miss at the same time. Should they both miss, they will obviously need to shoot again: meanwhile, I will try to slip past his guards and take him with my blade. If they prove totally unable to strike our target with missile fire, then they will have a rope to climb down on, allowing them to engage "A" in hand-to-hand combat together, probably in combination with me.
We hope they will not miss, however.
As for running, there are some few things we can do to stem that. It may be best for us to wait until Fid and T'kran are behind them, forcing "A" to make a charge into missile fire most fearful for him. Hopefully there will also be a quantity of flaming oil at the rear of the party as well, and that should hem them in a little.
Furthermore, I will address him such fashion as to arouse his desire to stand and fight, rather than run. If none of these things work, we can do nothing but chase him down by hook or crook, using Poe to mark him from the air.
If anyone has any better ideas for blocking the rear of the alley, I'd be most appreciateive myself."
Finished, Verrazzio folds his arms akimbo and waits for further discussion."

A flower gang passes the street. There's three of them. Two humans with clubs and daggers and dressed in leather armor, led by a humongous half-orc female in chain mail wielding a spiked club. "What cha doing here? Laggards? No gold be out of the Distrik of Flowahs? Now!" The half-orcs female left eye twitches continuously, and her left canine exudes out of her mouth at an odd angle.

Fid looks at the group passing them and puts his hand closer to his weapon to grab it at the first sign of trouble.

but we are just finding ourself a place to spent the night with some fun. and i heard this is the street to be, with all these fine ladies. we shall be gone soon dont worry about a thing

Verrazzio IX

Verrazzio rolls his eyes.
"Peste! Signiora, you could help us perhaps. We seek an establishment unexcelled in its elan and style, for those of patrician tastes."
A gold coin flashes in his fingers.
"If you could direct us, we would be most appreciative. My friend Angal was to direct me to his favourite establishment, but we have sadly missed each other. There would be a certain payment involved if you would give us recommendations."
He continues to toss the coin in his right hand while resting his left hand on Draco's hilt.
Those people familiar with Verrazzio's Cat's Claw fencing style would not be reassured by this.

"Huh? What you say?" says the half-orc female. "Who is Angal? Know not of 'im. You come here for girl? Nothing for rotting Skaven!" Spit flies out at her last proclaimation. "Not even Wartfaces want ratmen!"

Sintius' fingers fall to his hammer. The two men with the half-orc raise their batons. "They look like wimps. No tougher than old bread. We could take 'em easily," one of them snickers.
