[Mordheimel] The Nekromancer

Trusting to his companions ability to handle mundane tasks, T'Kran leaves the table and the tavern. He hopes to find a nearby tavern where he can buy a few drinks and ask some questions of the Nekromancer and his enemy the mathmetician.

"I'll take it," says the priest.

There's about 4 hours until dusk.

T'kran leaves and wanders about town, hopping from bar to bar. He finds out little about the mathematician, but some tidbits about Angal, the Nekromancer. He's well-known for his cruelty, even in a city where cruelty is common. Some say he's hell spawn, and is a worshipper of dark gods, but they say that of most anyone anyway. Oh and he enjoys the pleasures of the flesh apparently; venturing down to the Flower district at least once a week. A skaven fence, Miase, says no one will be sorry to see him gone. Miases says he'll pay a good price for the pistol Angal has. Otherwise, you have a vague physical description of him. 5'8"-10" tall, green eyes, wearing a pointy hat like the Nekromancers order does and metallic colour robes. He also has some kind of "lens" on one side on his eye, which Miase says helps him with the pistol. He's accompanied by guards, but most mages are anyhow.

T'kran spends 2 gp for the information.

You can hire more people, or if you want to go directlly to the ambush point you may.

Locking & Loading

Verrazzio nods and scoops the bag of gold off the table.
He pours five gold crowns in front of Sintius, ties the bag, and tucks it securely into his belt.
"Then empty your glass, Pater. Need you rest to prepare your spells?"
As he speaks he flicks another glance over Sintius, looking for a holy symbol. He doesn't expect to see one.
As he looks he continues speaking.
"Fid, we go to the House of Flowers to learn the beds. T'kran, go...T'kran?"
The Skaven has vanished into the crowd.
"He's bona, bona."
Verrazzio turns back to Sintius, waiting for a reply.

"Sigmar of course! All enemies shall cower in fear beneath His Hammer!" he says, holding forth his weapon. "And I have the spells I need!"

Verrazzio 6

"Very good. Then we go."
Verrazzio stands up, gathers his things, and heads for the door, beckoning for the others to follow.
As they leave the inn, he issues directions politely, but firmly.
"Bella donna, you and the padrone need to find us two inns or taverns or gaming clubs: some places where people can sit and watch the street for a few hours. One of those places needs to let us watch the main entrance to our friend's favorite brothel and the other needs to let us see down the length of that alley. Reserve tables or rooms if you have to."
He plucks the pouch back out of his belt, splits it in half by feel, and gives Autumn half.
"Spend it if you need it. I give you a kiss for luck, eh?"
Verrazzio leans over and kisses Autumn on each cheek. As he does so he whispers in her ear.
"Don't let Sintius out of your sight."

"Fid and I, we meet you at the south end of the alley in two hours to make plans, yes?"

Turning back to Fid, he continues on.
"And now you and I look at the beds on the Street of Flowers, yes?"

Turning, Verrazzio sets off for the ambush alley at a quick walk.
He does not approach it directly, but takes a route that winds back and forth along the last few blocks. He wants to find two inconspicuous routes out of the Flowers districts from each end of the ambush site.
Once he arrives at the alley, he walks down it, looking for large obstructions that could serve as cover or hiding places for rogues or old doorways off the alley. He takes a moment to retie his boots, checking as he does to make sure the alley is not so wet alchemists fire won't work. He looks at the sides of the buildings to see what they're made of: will it burn?
Finally, he looks to see if there are torches or streetlamps around.
Stretching himself to work the kinks out of his muscles, he looks at Fid.
"Fid, which one of these buildings is the best place for you and T'kran to hide on. Can you operate to full effect on the roof, or do you need to work from a window?"

fid looks carefully at the buildings and says:
i would have to see the buildings to see which one is good enough. and i dont think i'm tall enough to shoot effectifly from a window, so if prefer the roof. on which i can easely hide incase of trouble. the feathered one and i could get our positions at the end of the streets so we can look over the other streets and if he is shielded from one side i or the winged one can shoot him from the other side

Autumn will follow along as well as she can. trying to stay to the shadows. (she has no real move silent or hide) Poe will scout the area and come back if the target is in the alley.

Like many of the buildings in this section of town, they're made of stone. The alley itself is fairly wet.

There's a tavern-brothel about 30' west from the other side of the alley. (Past C16) On the north side (North is up on the map) most of them are stores and are closed for the night.

Sintius appears eager for the upcoming battle. "So who's this we're ambushing? Uh?"

Autumn will search for a likely place to watch the alley as the human has requested. while on the move she replies to the cleric, Angal. he is a necromancer of some sort. He has a few bodyguards. She looks into the clerics eyes. Are you truely up to this?

After some attempts to gather information, T'Kran returns to his companions, and finding them missing, checks the alley.

I'll need a window, the Skaven says, emerging from the shadows. The roof is too high to accurately aim attacks. However, it best if I stay in streets, to save coin.

Now that I tell you, you are committed, Sirius. Death-kill awaits betrayal. He is a Nekromancer, with bodyguards. A man-thing, with green eyes, and pointed hat. This man-thing armed with pistol and magic lens in one eye. This man-thing, Angal, is very cruel.
