[Mordheimel] The Nekromancer

Verazzio III

Verrazzio eyes the warpriest warily.
"Sigmarite?"
His lips tighten. This is unfortunate. Whatever this one was doing, he's heard too much to be allowed just to walk away.
And it's not as though he'll be much good in a fight.
Never trust a warrior with rusted armor.
At the same time, it's bad business to be caught killing a priest.
Shifting in his seat, he catches what looks like a determined glint in T'Kran's eye and nods slightly in recognition and agreement.
Someone is going to have a bad night here, and he doesn't intend for it to be him.
He twirls the stiletto between the second and third fingers of his right hand to distract attention while he polls the rest of the group with his eyes.
"Can we afford a donation to this holy man's church tonight? Say, five crowns worth?"
An idea starts to take shape in his head.
One patsy for the Flowerboys coming up.
Or one expendable to soak up the target's first shot.
He remembers there is a difference between killing a priest and letting a priest die.
This one may get to meet his god tonight after all.
He gives the group a tiny nod to suggest the best answer might be "yes".

Autumn simply watches the priest. She sees the looks passing between her comrads and her tail comes up behind her and the tip wags up and down in a "yes" fashion. So Shugah, Tell me something about yourself? she says and brings the chair from the next table over to the cleric.

"Me? I'm worth fifteen crowns! And good bargain I am!" the priest sits down. "I used to be mighty; my hammer crushed hordes in its wake, but the high priest of my own church tricked me and set three dark wraiths upon me. They drained the life out of me... almost. I lost all the hard earned skills and powers and even my God deserted me. I toiled as a miner for a while, before slowly Ipicked up my warhammer and armor again!"

-----
The Nekromancers are an order of mages who tinker with their undead servitors, performing vile surgeries to integrate armor and weapons directly into their flesh, or concoting weird alchemical fluids. They are despised by 'true' necromancers.

The map of the suggested 'hit area'. Forgot to include it with the previous post. Thicker lines indicate 2nd floor windows. All windows on the first floor are boarded up and grilled.

Fid also nods in a "yes"-fashion to Verrazzio while he listens to the priest. fid thinks that the priest is unable to fight at all with that armor. why is your armor so rusty and not bright and shining?? gives the preist time to answer do you have some information for us about those nekromancers? fid filles a glass with wine and puts infront of the priest on the table with his hand on it.

Autumn gets up and escorts the cleric into his seat. Lets try to keep this conversation to our selves. Now where do we start? any of you know anything about our target?

How high, and in what condition, are the roofs on Flower Street?
I no nothing of this man-thing, but I shall learn. His state of awareness, his friends, his enemies, and his power. With knowledge comes power. He will die-die, yes? the skaven proclaims quietly.

The priest seems embarassed about his armor. "I have tried my best. Perhaps I need to oil it again," he says.

Sintius sits down and smiles, "So whose head it be for your knives uh?" He helps himself to the proferred wine.

----------------
The roofs on that part of town are about 35'-40' high. It's about two stories in that part of town, though there are three or higher blocks around but you're not sure if he'll take any of the other streets. You have not heard anything about your target.

Verrazio 4

Verrazzio nods to himself and sips his wine. The stiletto in his hand stops.
"Fifteen gold. Five we give you now, ten we give you when the business is done. You say no, we leave, you stay here. Keep the bottle in exchange for your time. No harm is done. You say yes, we leave, you come with us. No harm is done. Decide now."

Turning to Autumn, Verazzio continued. "Have you spells prepared, bella donna, or must you rest?"
Then he cocks one eye at the inn door to see how much daylight is left (and hence how much time they have to prepare) and the other eye at the innkeeper to see if he has rooms available. (In sequence, not simultaneously.)

OOC: i'm at school now and i dont have the sheet with me with fid's character on it. i can realy remember if he only has a dagger or dagger and rapier.

if fid heres Verrazzio talking to autumn, fid puts his hand on his rapier and waits to what will happen
