It will be shown, will it just be screen shots or a movie? Or will the people at E3 be able to play it???

Well that's all I've seen so far, but the even the fact they have something to show after all these years and mods turned retail games is a major accomplishment.

Cool, I know the first booth I'll be running over to Wednesday morning... Well maybe Doom 3 first since I was too busy to wait in line last year.

Rumor has it that the engine used for HL2 looks better, and runs almost twice as fast as the Doom 3 engine.

I believe they said they where getting 70fps on a 1.7Ghz system with a Geforce 3.

Of course, this is just rumor at this point, but I bet it has ID biting their fingernails.

Speaking of id software, I'm still miffed over Doom 3 being awarded Game of the Show at last year's E3. If it weren't for the leaked demo post-E3, we'd know squat about the game (we barely know more than that right now) besides the fact that is has nice graphics. Oh, joy.

For a game to be a viable GOTS contender, I think it should be in a playable form for the public attendees. Also, I think once a game has received a GOTS award, it should be automatically ineligible for subsequent GOTS awards, regardless if it receives multiple showings over a number of E3's due to delays and various prolonged development periods.

Check these bad boys out!
