4.3.2 (Vyrlim) Vyrlim reaches down and touches Ezabard, laying on hand for 100 hit points. "Interupt this shade!" he yells at Vecna.

He then casts branding smite (2nd level) and faces down the archlich, standing just behind the magical trap.

@DragonBelow it is now Selossen's Turn on Initiative 21 (round #4).

Selossen casts Sacred flame on Vecna as his action. More stuff incoming depending on the result of that.

Also, what can I discern with my passive perception about the woman in the altar?

He saves against the spell (Roll 17+3=20 vs. DC 19).

What now?

Well, it's passive, so... There is a human woman, bound, lying on top of the alter. She isn't moving as far as you can tell, but you can't be certain if she is dead or simply unconscious (if you move next to her and want to make a DC 5 Wisdom (Medicine) check as your Action, you could determine if she is alive or not). Her clothes are torn and blood-stained, and there is blood on the altar as well, although it is difficult at this distance to tell whether it is relatively recent or not. With Vyrlim's sunblade lighting the region with bright light, it is a bit hard to see anything more since you are looking past him.

You will also see the inscription on the altar in Infernal, but since you don't know the language you have no idea what it means.

Although Ezabard warned the party of the symbol spell in front of the altar, you do not see it.

OK, Selossen moves back out of sight from Vecna and quickens a Crown of Stars, then moves back and shoots a mote at Vecna. "We're going to take you down!", I guess I can't fire a mote since I used the BA for the casting, but I'm ready for next round :p

Selossen has 35' of movement, he moves back until he is out of sight from Vecna, he won't cast until that first requirement is met.
He can't, the wall that closed is blocking off the hallway you guys came through. You can move out into the room if you want... or find some way through the stone wall.

FYI, looking at the map, there isn't any space I can see that would block line of sight. There is one or two that are close, but from your prior position in the last turn, I think you'll be 5 feet short.
