Last book I bought was Tasha's, which is the only book I regretted buying. Before that it was the new print of Tyranny of Dragons.

Havent been interested that much in 5e for a while now, it would seem.

Last book as ToYP about 6 months ago for a new campaign we started a couple months ago.

Before that was PotA. I never bought Tasha's or Mords. I'm planning to wait until 2024. I may buy Saltmarsh if I need.

Are you talking about the physical books only or also online copies through dndbeyond? Because I've bought quite a few in dndbeyond, skipping most of the adventure books, but haven't bought a physical copy since the pandemic started.

Well, you said hardcover so I'm assuming you mean a printed version. So that would be 10+ years. 4E, before essentials.

As for a 5E digital WtC product, the last one was TftYP in June 2021, so 1-2 years.

I bought Fizban's late last year, but I got Strixhaven for my birthday in April. I find I'm buying less WotC official stuff and more third-party, to be honest - I've probably backed a dozen 5e kickstarters and bought another half dozen 3pp books in that time.

Main reason it content. I'm not a big fan of adventure books, and even WotCs setting books are mostly adventures these days.
