Having the 'real' villain/person with agency of an AI antagonist episode be a human was already used multiple times last season. My problem with that isn't the episodes themselves, it's how frequently it's happening. It stops being a twist if it happens every single time.

Also The Doctor's WAY more willing to resort to violence and outright kill people. The Doctor went from weeping over killing Sutekh to laughing about killing diet Davros. Is that going to be an actual plot point this season?

I'd be fine with that, but last season was supposed to bring new viewers in, so it's like if a new Batman show had him gunning down criminals at the start of the second season. You need to establish that The Doctor prefers to find peaceful solutions and will offer a chance to even the most vile villains before you subvert that.
