Arrive AT or Arrive TO?

Which one is the one you tend to use? The freighter arrived at/to Coruscant?

If both, which is instinctively more natural to you?

I only started to notice the 'Arrive TO' construction in the last few years, and only online--so I'm assuming it's an American construction. I've added Canadian as a separate option, as US as Canadian language is often similar (though sometimes UK and Canadian is more similar, and I haven't even mentioned Australia....)

I'm not used to Arrive TO enough that it doesn't feel a bit nails-on-chalkboard yet.

But anyway. What's your natural linguistic construction?

I actually don’t think I’ve ever heard ‘arrive to’ ever …

Me neither, it was jarring seeing it in the thread title because I've never seen it elsewhere.

Same, American and I have never seen or heard "arrive to".

I also find constructions such as "different to" very weird- to me, it's "different from".

I couldn't think of any, but Google found a "to" one that didn't feel odd to me:
“I arrived to the party a bit late,”

The only case I can think of that I've heard "to" is when it's followed by a verb, not a location . As in "I have arrived to kick ass and chew bubblegum". Basically, chopping words off of "in order to".

Could be it’s not American then! I wonder if it’s common to another language? That said I think it’s YouTube I hear/see it most.
