Spoilers Doctor Who s15 (or 2) [[spoilers!]]

Confirmed, Omega got less than 3 minutes of screentime.

Also it was Chronos who was the god of time, not Kronos/Cronus/Saturn/etc. It's easy to get them confused since their names sound similar, but less than a minute of Googling turned that up.

Kronos devoured his children, Chronos did not.

No, from what I've read that was a retcon created after they reshot The Reality War to account for Gatwa leaving. They needed a reason for The Doctor to regenerate so they scraped together the Poppy plot. It's part of why the episode's such a nonsensical mess.

Ruby was supposed to still be the Companion in the 2nd season, which is why Belinda didn't get an actual story arc and then got shoved in a box for most of The Reality War before being rewritten as a doting single mother.
If that's true (I don't buy it, but if you have sources please share), my read on it still works.

From German Disney+, a scene that wasn't in the final episode that couldn't have been in the one we got since there was no time for The Doctor to go to a club before regenerating:

Confirmation that Belinda's parents would have had a larger role about the actor playing her father:
Confirmation of the final episode having reshoots done despite having been finished far earlier in the year:
After Poppy and Belinda get out of the box they were put in the other characters have different outfits and hairstyles.

Susan never showed up despite her actress being old enough that her being able to appear in the 3rd season is in question.

All that by itself would normally be circumstantial, but given Gatwa's comments about leaving it seems like he just decided not to keep going after his contracted 2 seasons and so the final episode was reshot to allow The Doctor to regenerate.

The original ending likely would have had a cameo by Susan, Belinda's parents being involved onscreen, and some other answer for Poppy.

Belinda had already been established as someone who valued her independence and wanted to get home because The Doctor kept violating her autonomy and getting her into dangerous situations. Rewatch The Robot Revolution, the retcon scenes in Reality War about her being a single mother don't match up to what we saw there.

Belinda always being a single mother has no actual backing, it was made up wholecloth for the reshot The Reality War.

Thanks for all that! Worth looking into.

As a counter, reshoots and pick-ups happen all the time, even very late in the game, so that could have been a combination of the usual needs and the restructuring we're talking about.

In Robot Revolution, is Bel living with flatmates? That's what I remember.

More the former than the latter, it looked like they each had their own room, but also shared communal spaces like the kitchen.
That seems unlikely for a single mother - or is it more likely? - but the timeline changed so... I can't keep track anymore! 😅

Well she wasn't a single mother until The Doctor shifted the timeline. What we don't know is if her living situation changed in the shift. It looked like a different house in the last episode, so maybe it did.
And was Ernest Borgnine still re-alived in that timeline? If not, what happened to not leaving anyone behind?
