Wait, wait. What about Psionics? It's one thing if they rename the classes, but I don't want it to turn out that Psionics is stuck with a separate book, and still a ginger stepchild. Please, no.
It's still a week before my birthday, but this is some serious 4wesome. I was already planning on buying the core set in June, but this just reinforces my hopes. Now I just need a group.
Believe it or not, but 3d modeling is trickier than 2d art. While these aren't the prettiest of graphics, they certainly aren't total crap. If you really want to know what games looked like in 1998, here is the Wikipedia list of games. I think age is making some of our posters forget just how...
Hmmm... weird energies twisting and warping living beings. Where have I see that before? Oh yeah, "The Colour Out of Space" by Lovecraft. Most of that article gives me a Lovecraft vibe, and that, of course, is good. But then I'm a sucker for Mythos stuff.
Races and Classes has a boat-load of geographic locations. Just from the Elves section...
Howling Forest
Durkellwood
Daggermoor
Mount Keannor
Haruani Archipelago
And that's just page 36.
Maybe not "funny satisfying" but it was certainly "plot satisfying."
Good to know that Haley and Belkar aren't the only ones left behind with the ability to fight. Even if the others are just unnamed NPCs.
Well, that was kind of disappointing. I think even Lien was surprised and worried at them casting off. One has to wonder if she can even catch up, considering her expression. She certainly didn't follow.
Yeah, I have issue #309 of Dragon next to me, and it did mark the start of 3.5 rules. Then came the trio of great magazines that covered the updated rules and classes. Lots of great stuff in there.
Not a very funny ship, but certainly not a boring one either. I still want to see this storyline tied up quickly so Roy can come back and they can head to the next gate.
