D&D (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Reveal #1: "Everything You Need To Know!"

Each day this week, Wizards of the Coast will be releasing a new live-streamed preview video based on the upcoming Player's Handbook. The first is entitled Everything You Need To Know and you can watch it live below (or, if you missed it, you should be able to watch it from the start afterwards). The video focuses on weapon mastery and character origins.

There will be new videos on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week, focusing on the Fighter, the Paladin, and the Barbarian, with (presumably) more in the coming weeks.

I don't think d&d wants to be historically correct there...

I have seen original weapons and I can honestly say: for d&d I prefer the fantasy ones.
design can be fantasy one, but dimensions should be fixed in reality.

warhammer looks like 30+ Kg lump of useless iron.

No one under 30 STR can fight with that.

Wow, it only took them ten years to catch up with the community? :ROFLMAO:

The book is sure going to be pretty. Going to have to go back over the Xanthar crafting rules, but I thought we already had crafting rules?
These will be core rules for crafting, thus a fundamental aspect of almost every game.

@Whizbang Dustyboots - if you go to the actual video it scrolls up and down a little...

Gnomes making a Warforged? Works for me!
Wait wait hold on with what I just said: I like it. THAT'S how I'll explain Warforged in the Forgotten Realms. They were made of Gondian design by the Rock Gnomes as protectors and for everyday common use. Which is important for Gnomes, especially after their enslavement by the Fomorians of the Feywild.
