I think the best method for Character Sheets would be to use MythWeavers or TangledWeb. I personally never have used either, but I know a few players that have.

Can everyone figure it out and agree on this? For the actual post itself, besides the link, we need a portrait (I will use it to make tokens for tactical grids). If you cannot post the image link from Photobucket or something similar, attach it to the post or in the OOC thread and I will DL and host it on my Photobucket account.

Then I think a nicely formatted section of most commonly referenced things should be included so we don't have to pull up the whole sheet every time.

Finally the backgrounds. I think those are better left on the thread itself while you are all drafting them rather than buried on the individual character sheets.

Wait, do you still want the excel sheet? I'm fine with that - I only used MythWeavers for drafting before I moved things to excel. As for MythWeavers or the Tangled Web, they look roughly the same to me, so not much preference.

Errandir has already done his sheet on MythWeavers and I've got an account there so I'm going to use that as well. It's not immediately obvious to me where the sheets on TW are anyway.

@GM - since you posted the original Rogues Gallery thread, there has been a movement of many threads from where they used to sit, to a sub-folder in the Play by Post Games section. There is a thread there where you can request to have it moved if you wish:

Okay, I put in the request to move the Character Thread, let's give it a day or two days. Keeping everything here is fine for now.

As for Tangled Web, never used it either, just seen the results. I guess that things might change once you register and log in, revealing more options.

Also the last two sheets I could not read without having to register at MythWeavers. What did Errandir do differently on his link?

How you coming Gandalf? RL issues (how's your sister?) still taking up your play time?

I never had to add anyone like that. Try going to your "sheets" page - there's an eye symbol to the left of the character name that represents whether the sheet is public or not. I think it has to be bold for other people to be able to see it (you can click on it to toggle this).

If it's not that, I'm not sure.
